Patricia Kearney is an expert in nutrition policy, food and health communications. She is currently President of PMK Associates, Inc. and a member of the Harvard Business School Food Policy Committee, PAPSAC. Kearney was the first nutritionist appointed Chief of Staff of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). In an earlier tenure at USDA, she was Nutrition Advisor for over $25 billion in federal food and nutrition programs. Prior to coming to Washington DC, Kearney was senior nutritionist at the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital where she conducted clinical research and lectured at Harvard’s Medical School and School of Public Health. She earned her Masters in Nutrition from Tufts University and was recognized as Dietitian of the Year in 1980 by the American Dietetic Association.
