Elizabeth Parvu - Owner, Sugarpaste, LLC

Elizabeth Parvu is the owner of Sugarpaste, LLC, and www.sugarpaste.com. She co-owns Crystal Colors LLC with her husband Ronald. They operate a manufacturing site for the crystal colors that is a kosher certified facility by the Chicago Rabbinical Council.

Parvu is recognized around the world for her Sugar Flowers and award-winning cake designs. She has been published numerous times in American Cake Decorating Magazine, Cake & Craft Decoration Magazine (England) and in 2007 was listed in Gourmet Magazine, December issue. Also she has been written about in Dessert Professional magazine (formally known as Pastry Art & Design) under the cutting-edge section.

Parvu is an International Cake Exploration Societie demonstrator and approved scholarship teacher. She has demonstrated for the last 14 years for the ICES Annual Convention.

She recently demonstrated for the Societe Culinaire Philanthropique at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City in November, 2012 and has demonstrated for World Pastry Forum in Phoenix, Arizona.She has taught for Walter State Community College in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Parvu is an adjunct professor for Anne Arundel Community College in Baltimore, Maryland, Culinary division.

She has traveled to South Africa and England respectively to demonstrate for the South African Sugar Art Guild Exhibition in Pretoria, South Africa and The British Sugar Craft Guild Exhibition in England.
