Colleen Zammer - Director of Product Marketing, Bay State Milling

Colleen Zammer is responsible for the development and support of specialty ingredients for grain-based consumer foods. Examples include whole grain mixes that meet the National School Lunch Program guidelines, products with unique nutritional profiles based on grains, seeds and legumes as well as organic and gluten-free flours and bakery blends. Ms. Zammer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from Framingham State University and her 23 year career in the food industry has spanned technical consulting for large and small food and ingredient companies, development and commercialization of new products as well as sales and marketing of ingredients for wellness based foods. She is a member of the American Association of Cereal Chemists, the Institute of Food Technologists and the Bread Bakers Guild of America.
